Croaking Frogs in an Endless Moaning Swamp.

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

May your noses always be cold and wet.

(Don't ask me why I did this, maybe I was experimenting and maybe I got a little bored always looking for some new way to say the same thing because, for me, there's only one thing worth saying or talking about; and how everything else relates to it. In any case, I'm not happy with it. It strikes me as forced and trite and any number of other things. There's always tomorrow so don't be too disappointed with me today).

Whose eyes are you seeing through, the dark one's or your own? They drum up false appearances and we worship at the throne. Yesterday the news concerned the trouble in the streets, today Wack Jack Abromiwitz is bringing you the news. When did he get out of prison? I must have missed that flash. The dung curds have replaced the cream. The cream was never there. They bake the bread with human fat and pump it full of air. Lies... Lies... Lies... Nothing there but lies. Ignorance is an early death, too few grow old and wise. The drumbeat rumbles slow and deep with miles and miles to go. We labor under the heavy weight of what we think we know. The most important thing they've taken that you cannot see is the awareness of your sense of community. The basic structure of human life is in the family ...and that they seek to kill ...and that they seek to kill. Look at what they're up to friends. This is a bitter pill.

They take your children from you and house them with the state. They gender bend the consciousness so no one can relate. They push for every state that's not the central unit and you just watch it going by cause now you are a eunuch. The process of castration was arduous and slow. They did in your grammar school, they do it as you go. They do it at your place of work and while you watch TV. They do it when you daydream in a soft subconscious creep. Darling don't you kid yourself, they do it while you sleep. It's not all really bad news, some news is even worse. There's lots of time to do their thing until they call the hearse. In between will come the time they play their strongest card; stick Clockwork Orange up your ass with new ways to get hard. They'll tell you it's all natural. By now you think it is. A hundred years on down the line, you'll use your nose to piss.

They're trying to turn the world into The Island of Dr. Moreau; a carnival of twisted freaks. Will you enjoy the show? Will you enjoy the show? It's slated for a mass release and it is starring you. Your name is up in lights. You'll be wearing skin tight tights. You'll be ripped on some designer drugs and beaten to death by mutated thugs, then roasted on a spit. They'll eat you right there on the screen and rub their tummies too. Just keep on going as you are, it all comes down to you. It all comes down to you. It all comes down on you but keep in mind at any time, it can lift you up and through. What I've said it true. It all comes down to you. It all comes down to you.

Your celebrities are by your side as you get taken for a ride. Money is a riddle, wrapped in enigma and cloaked in mystery. You can't understand the pull of it till you've got far too much of it and then you never have enough. When friends need help it's all tied up. That's more than passing strange. You sunbathe on a sea of milk in your vacation home on the range. Where no deer and antelope play, Holay! Where no deer and antelope play. The deer is in a bondage suit. The antelope looks mighty cute, one more round peg in a square root. There really is no substitute. You're seeing things you've never dreamed of, they're alien and shivering, your timbers tremble now. You want to break the hex. The problem is, it isn't real. It's really Memorex and it all comes down to sex.

The primary illusion is you're not one but somehow two. You spend your life in search of it, till you're hollow, bent and old. Burned up from the inside out. Your substance gone, replaced by doubt, cause you don't know what it's all about, the two becoming one, the two becoming one. You can weep till heaven cries but you have had your run. There's no gas inside your tank cause Lady Nature's now a skank. You pounded her to make her see, the power of your majesty and then you spilled your seed. Now she's got you brother man. She's got all she needs to bring you children like yourself. You see them encased in plastic wrap on Wal-mart's closeout shelf. Your passion got the best of you and lowered your resistance too. This is the essential truth, of the life man spent in spilling sand from the fountain of his youth.

It's a peculiar mystery. You see it but you still don't see, the drainage of your symphony that never got released. You can't make both things manifest if your times consumed by all the rest. Soon you'll be on your mother's breast for another coming round ...and round and round and round... and round and round and round, till human voices wake you up and once again you drown; a reshaped quote from Eliot but we don’t get the half of it, cause otherwise, my friend, we'd quit, but we keep keeping on. We keep keeping on and time is almost gone.

Twenty six thousand years and something like this appears ...and we're a cause for ridicule, a cause for mocking laughter. You become a slave in shackles when you cease to be your master. It's sex that brought you down. It's the appetite profound. The thing that most attracted you got your attention fixed. The relentless foe of freedom was watching through your eyes and played it over again ...and again and now you're hearing “Where or When”? Remembering is the primary key to innocence and liberty. The fathomless pool of memory has everything you need. Drop your mind into its depths and she'll take care of all the rest. Of all you love she is the best. That's all you need to know and now you're good to go.

The politics and vicious laws. The priest's with hands inside your drawers. The culture and it's nasty soup. The canon fodder and mindless dupes, surrounding you and calling you, to march and halt and march, are nothing more than frogs in an endless moaning swamp. Tune your ears to other voices, then you'll see the other choices. Help is on the way, ask yourself that question now. What makes Tom Delay? Hey, hey, hey, hey hey!

We shoulda, coulda, woulda but something made us pause. We coulda, shoulda woulda but we're stuck somewhere because, we're listening to someone else whose voice is firm and comforting. It's what precedes the buggering and brutality of life. Your whole life's based on getting laid so you made suffering your wife. The things you lost and can't get back. They cut you like a knife. Regret, remorse and guilt attend your passage through the realm. You're bound somewhere and bound right here and tied up like a steer. The branding iron. The killing floor. Is this what you really came here for? You live your life upon your knees to shadow kings and other sleaze for want of courage to stand and be free, out of fear of death and ignominy, because you risked it all. They always slander those who do. It shouldn't mean anything to you ...but it does. It does.

This is how they keep us down in fear of shame and censure. You're already shamed by giving in and saddened beyond measure. Is this how you take your pleasure? You can't enjoy a single thing but you tell yourself you do. The first of lies we tell ourselves, we practice them in private and then we share them with our friends or anyone who'll listen, on the bar stools of our wasted lives. Days and days and years and years of lonely masturbature and now it's second nature. How can I know it's all like this? My friend, I've been there too. I just got sick and tired of it, so one day I just up and quit and that's the final sum of it. What follows, I don't know, but it beats the Hell out of being there. It can't be worse so I don't care what waits at the top or bottom of the stairs to wherever I am headed and I'm aided and abetted cause help is on the way, every single day. Can you say the same? You can say the same but you can't stay the same. Changing is a motherfucker but assistance will appear. The moment that you change your course, the angels are on call. There's nothing to come up against but shadows on the wall, on the wall inside your mind. You're wound up tighter than a vise. Drop your baggage at your feet and let yourself unwind. That's all it takes plus trust and faith, or else you're right back in crazy town for another ugly round. There's not one single thing you need in the land of appetite and greed. Ignore what's said or else take heed. The time is coming soon, either you're dancing in the wind or howling like a loon. The time is coming soon. The time is coming soon. Sanity and madness will both be on the stage. One will inspire greater things, the other fear and rage. The latch is off your cage, in either sense, it's come and went before you turn the page. It's quicker than the lightning and more awesome than the thunder. It's in the wings and warming up, this coming age of wonder.

Yes all the things the world cut short we're going to get to do. We'll get our inspiration back with music in the air. The goblins will have gone away and we'll no longer go astray. The light comes from the avatar. The sun has sent the superstar. You'll finally find out who you are and what it means to be. It's coming down no matter what, no need to follow me.

End Transmission.......

"So, you are all advanced students. You should understand the importance of each and every item of devotional service. Do not make any misunderstanding by devaluating any of the spiritual activities. One who distinguishes a particular type of service as inferior or superior, he does not know the value of devotional service. It is all transcendental. Whatever item is suitable, that is accepted as very elevated.

Just like Maharaja Pariksit. He simply listened to Sukadeva Gosvami. That is sravanam. And Sukadeva Gosvami simply narrated Srimad-Bhagavatam. This is kirtanam. Prahlada Maharaja simply contemplated–smaranam. Prthu Maharaja simply did deity worship–arcanam. Arjuna only remained as friend of Krishna–sakhyam. Hanuman remained only engaged in carrying out the order of Lord Ramacandra–dasyam. And Bali Maharaja surrendered everything to Krishna–atma-nivedanam.

So, any devotee executing any one of the nine is transcendentally glorious. One devotee may be proud that his process of service is the best. That is not inglorious. This is called transcendental competition. Everyone should feel proud of his particular type of devotional service, but that does not mean that other types of service are inferior. Everyone should feel proud of becoming sincere servant of Krishna, but the pure devotee never minimizes the importance of other devotees.

Krishna is the enjoyer of varieties of service. It is not stuck up with any particular type of service. Krishna takes pleasure with devotees even by fighting service. When Grandfather Bhisma was trying to injure the body of Krishna by sharpened arrows, in full devotion in the mellow of chivalry, Krishna was feeling the piercing of the arrows as good as worshiping him with soft rose flowers.

The conclusion is that everyone should be very very sincere. There is no more the question of inferior or superior.

I hope this meets you in good health."

Your ever well-wisher,
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Svami

"Whatever service we can do for Krishna, even if somebody is not able to execute fully Krishna Consciousness, whatever amount of service he does it never goes in vain.

It will eternally remain. And it will act.
Even if somebody does small amount of service, and not even very willingly, still, he is assured to get human body in next birth, and chance to execute some service further.

Whatever one may do in the material world, if he is even Rockefeller, it is all failure, defeat, because it will not exist beyond this body. He does not know that next life I may be dog or cat.

But whatever service we can do for Krishna, even if somebody is not able to execute fully Krishna Consciousness, whatever amount of service he does it never goes in vain. It will eternally remain. And it will act. Even somebody does small amount of service, and not even very willingly, still, he is assured to get human body in next birth, and chance to execute some service further.

So there is no question of failure in Krishna Consciousness. It is only success. Krishna says, My devotee is never vanquished. So we must try sincerely, that’s all.
Krishna says, My devotee is never vanquished. So one must try sincerely, that’s all.

Human life is very valuable, and one should not waste it in vain exploration of other planets. One should be intelligent enough to return to Godhead."

Nice. Are we working on a second day 'Bucolics'? You said it, though.

I am probably a little dim but what is second day Bucolics, I mean, your particular reference (grin).

I don't care how you say it, just say it as you do. The only thing worth saying is the sayings that are true. You tell us we should live our lives as God is by our side, then tell us life's a movie - we're in it for the ride. All things are for instruction to improve our sorry lot, some do not believe that and really lose the plot and make our life a misery as corporations do, still we are told they're people but that's not really true. So when all is boiled down to what is truth - true blue, the whole kit 'n kaboodal comes back to me and you.
Ha!

Hmm,

So the only proper measure of the quality of one’s devotion is sincerity. And it’s all good even if the sincerity is a total farce. Service is all.

I once read that every possible way is The Way. Some journeys just take a little longer.

I can hardly keep up with all of you, still too many distractions, testing my resolve I suspect.

Interesting mirror today Visible, the images generate unusual associations...

I had myself a little quiet and sincere prayer session before I logged on. Then this. I get it, Les, I really do.

Allow me to tell you a story. A few years ago when I was attending a church fellowship, the pastor and now former friend, told me that when he sees a Sikh man or someone of another faith praying in public, he would pray to cancel those prayers. As if to say, his are better. In my heart I knew the Sikh man and Muslim follower were sincere. My former pastor's over riding prayers were most likely sincere, but self righteous and ignorant.

Sure, I sometimes make hasty requests out of ignorance too, but this bragging of a better faith and better prayer, was a major red flag in my eyes.

So, I now have an open mind and try not to devalue others sincerity. After all, my righteousness is as filthy rags to our Lord.

That was an awesome read! All of your posts resonate with me, but this one spelled it out for me more than the other posts because of it's rhythm and simplicity. I used to complicate and analyze everything and since I've awakened to 'reality', I have become a sort of 'simpleton' with a short attention span. It's weird but cool because I automatically bypass anything online that feels like bullshit and that means I spend a lot less time online(grin). I have a question for you: Are you posting everyday lately because perhaps you feel like things are finally going to happen? I wonder if we are at the event horizon and I've felt this way many times before, but it's different this time. For the first time ever, the sun looks like it's exploding on solarimg.org and the tptw are finally forced to admit that S.E. Asia is obviously sinking under the sea and not 'flooding from too much (nonexistent)rain'. Yes, to me it feels as though the bottom has finally dropped out and we're at the point of no return.

And yet, I have no fear. I actually feel joy if I can stay in the moment long enough. I meditated this morning for like 10 minutes and I was more clear-headed and less emotional as a result. I usually have such a hard time concentrating, but today it went much better and I equate it to the times we are in.

Thank you for reminded us all in your blog posts of the importance of meditation and of letting go of all the baggage, especially now. It's all about which 'wolf you feed'; feed the right one! Also, getting in touch with The Divine power within will help us get thru the coming parade of shitstorms.

I so love a parade, don't you?

Thanks for the epic poem! Keep up the wonderful posts, You Rock!!

P.S. I'm so sorry about Silky.

Another great Les Visible blog. For a some good examples of "sincerity" as an ethical and spiritual virtue, read an English translation of the Analects of Confucius.

Speaking of State-subsidized celebrities, I think of U2, Gaga, and crew fundraising for the Bill Clinton Foundation. Bill's main gig is arranging deals between predatory mining tycoons and dictators; the Foundation is just a cartoon bandaid to make it look nice. In a previous blog, Visible raised the very pertinent question of why aren't the Rothschilds and QE2 prominently represented on the Forbes List. It is estimated that the Rothschilds owned half of the world's wealth in the mid-19th Century, and they're still up there -- apparently above being counted. An article says "Most of these (Rothschild) assets are held in a complex network of tax-efficient structures around the World. Queen Elizabeth II's shareholdings remain hidden behind Bank of England Nominee accounts." http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2007/12/02/18464823.php

My research into mining magnate Robert Friedland (aka Sita Ram Das, aka Toxic Bob), who is a Friend of Bill Clinton, has given me some insight about how the money laundering works. It's a shell game of shifting investors; in mining, the Rothschild's Rio Tinto moves in and out of the picture, with their subsidiaries and proxies getting most of the credit for what happens. It's ironic that AIDs is rampant in mining camps and districts, that AIDs relief is the Clinton Foundation's big cause (but only a small part of its mostly noncharitable budget), and that the hostile depopulation of Africa by predatory foreigners is a very serious concern.

Hey Eric! Spelling optional for Vergil/Virgil, but I prefer the Latin spelling. He was a Celt, by the way. The Romans stole his daddy's land, but he did OK in Rome, thanks to his brilliant mind.

Been hung up on him since reading Durante degli Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

I think it's cool to write this stuff in verse. It's more work than I ever did on any of mine. Adds to the entertainment value of the message.

Well, I appreciate all of you being so kind about the post. I really felt like I could have done it a lot better and I'm not fishing for anything just stating the truth about my experience of it after I read it. I probably shouldn't even be saying anything. It's not up to me and most of it doesn't have anything to do with me either, except incidentally.

Tomorrow should be interesting as I plan on writing about alternative sexual interests in full from my perspective. I know there are some ideas that I don't think have ever seen the light of day before. I'll include the occasional concern about my occasional mention of obesity in the hope of generating a clear demarcation between what I mean and how it is perceived. Both of these subjects garner a great deal of reflexive defensiveness, as if what I might be trying to say and never effectively accomplish were intended as a judgment and a criticism when they are not. We all experience a degree of each of them and other things too in our passage to a brighter world though our lifetimes.

It is important that I clarify these things because of the real possibility of alienating people both pro and con. It's like the thing with Zionism. People complain to me that I won't say the word 'Jew' and blame them for every human problem. I say the word often but for some people, there is no satisfaction unless you mirror their position. On the other hand are those who are offended at any mention of The Tribe as if they really were victims when quite the reverse is true and the victim-hood, as most of us know, is a blind to cover heinous offenses against the larger public by a certain portion of them. The remanufacturing and fabrication of the historical record speaks to this same industry but it is not an all or nothing thing as it applies to the entire membership.

As I have said many times, my personal experience speaks against this and I must go by that to the exclusion of anything else I have not experienced.

Regarding Prithu Maharaja, who was mentioned in Visible's comment above.

"Vena [a descendant of Druva] was a great king. However, he became evil and corrupt. The world became so gloomy and dark that the earth-goddess Bhumidevi decided that she would not provide crops to humans anymore. She took form as a cow and went into hiding. Meanwhile, a group of Rishis killed Vena out of anger. They then rubbed the thigh of his corpse, and took out all the evil from his body. Afterwards they rubbed Vena's arm, and the good Prithu emerged. This being was Vishnu incarnate, and as soon as he was born, Vishnu's Sharanga bow fell from heaven into his hands. However, Bhumidevi still refused to give crops to people. As soon as Prithu, son of Vena, threatened to kill her, she gave in, but in return Prithu would be her eternal guardian. This is why Bhumidevi is also known as Prithvi. In the Rigveda (10.123), Vena is a personification of a celestial being..."
- Vena (Hindu King) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In my opinion, the story of Vena and Prithu is a Precessional myth. Dhruva is Polaris as the North Pole Star, and Vena is Dhruva's descendant -- Vega as the North Pole Star. The cold and dark Ice Age occurs when the North Pole Star moves from Polaris to Vega. Venu is slain by the Saptarishis, who personify the Great Bear constellation. The Saptarishis "rubbed the thigh of his (Venu's) corpse, and took out all the evil from his body." The "thigh" is the (sometimes phallic) World Axis. As an Avatar of the solar god Visnu, Prithu Maharaja was born ayonija (without a mother), a type of Immaculate Conception. Prithu became the Chakravartin (Ruler of the Cosmic Wheel), and as the adiraja (First King), Prithu invented the plow, agriculture, cattle-breeding, commerce, cities, and civilization. According to some accounts, Prithu's wife is the earth goddess Prithvi. In other accounts, Prithu's wife is Archi (the Cosmos), and their five sons become the Lokapalas of the four directions and the center.

Some modern Hindus interpret Prithu as an historical King and national icon, and as an example for India's potential to become a world leader.

The earth goddess Bhumidevi is also the cow-goddess Kamadhenu, who stands on four legs during the Satya Yuga, on three legs during Treta Yuga, on two legs during Dvapara Yuga, and on one leg during Kali Yuga. The Lakota White Buffalo Calf Woman likewise loses a leg during each of four World Ages. Compare also the Egyptian cow/sky goddess Hathor.
- Gregory Fegel

"Look at this bowl," said the White Buffalo Calf Woman. 'Its stone represents the buffalo, but also the flesh and blood of the red man. The buffalo represents the universe and the four directions, because he stands on four legs, for the four ages of creation. The buffalo was put in the west by Wakan Tanka at the making of the world, to hold back the waters. Every year he loses one hair, and in every one of the four ages he loses a leg. The sacred hoop will end when all the hair and legs of the great buffalo are gone, and the water comes back to cover Mother Earth.'"
Animals & Prophecy - Crystalinks - Crystalinks Home Page

"The four legs of the celestial cow represented Nut or Hathor could, in one account, be seen as the pillars on which the sky was supported with the stars on their bellies constituting the milky way on which the solar barque of Ra, representing the sun, sailed. An alternate name for Hathor, which persisted for 3,000 years, was Mehturt, meaning 'great flood,' a direct reference to her being the Milky Way. The Milky Way was seen as a waterway in the heavens, sailed upon by both the sun deity and the moon, leading the ancient Egyptians to describe it as The Nile in the Sky."

Not at all odd that the bravest of the brave shine the brighest in surrender.

Gregory,
Not odd either that the word Hindu does not appear anywhere in the Vedas.

What are we to make of the preceptor and organizer of Advaita Vedanta, Sri Shankaracharya's Bhaja Govindam?

Especially as the Bhaja Govindam begins and ends with the same conclusion as does the Bhagavad Gita and its hero Arjuna.

TEXT 1

bhajagovindam bhajagovindam
govindam bhajamuudhamate
sampraapte sannihite kaale
nahi nahi rakshati dukrijnkarane

Worship Govinda, Worship Govinda, Worship Govinda. Oh fool! Rules of Grammar will not save you at the time of your death.

TEXT 34

bhajagovindam bhajagovindam
govindam bhajamuudhamate
naamasmaranaadanyamupaayam
nahi pashyaamo bhavatarane

Worship Govinda, worship Govinda, worship Govinda, Oh fool! Other than chanting the Lord's names, there is no other way to cross the life's ocean.

Northern Mexico is close, and sort of important, so please repeat time and space. Those old pictures still are waiting for some intention.

Sincerely, or not, some parts of either still stick, what works, works.

As if there was any choice, whether to work on it, or not, or maybe both, letting cream rise, and the rest do what it what born to do. That's a hell of a thing, surfing Nature, and feeling those things go on their merry or woeful way.

Maybe the sad stuff is more missed than the happy stuff, but that could just be some kind of adjustment, always personal, maybe transpersonal.

I would not buy into that, but that's the way it is in certain places, where buying and selling doesn't matter so much- it's real, but not worth much, or anything, for those who count these things, or care enough to scratch opinons into whatever will take it without too much fight.

To Homer at 11:05 PM, Nov 17th:

I know that the word Hindu isn't found in the Vedas; Hindus sometimes remind me of that fact. Just like the word Christian isn't in the Bible or the New Testament.

Some insist that the proper term is not Hindu but Vedic Religion. There are various and sometimes incompatible philosophies contained in the Vedic scriptures, and numerous Indians have reminded me that the Vedic Religion does not require vegetarianism or Ahimsa.

So there are the Vedic scriptures, some of which are at odds, but there are no Hindus -- especially since the followers of the Vedas believe in so many different things.

Someone wrote the Vivekachudemani and someone also wrote the Bhaja Govindam. Was it the same person that wrote both? It suits the Bhaktas to think so. Personally, I don't know. Maybe not -- maybe even probably not.

The texts of the Vivekachudemani and the Bhaja Govindam exist separately, no matter who wrote them. Does the Bhaja Govindam cancel out the Vivekachudemani? Only if you're a devout Bhakta.

Regards, GF

I feel so screwed, guaranteed another trip around this place where even the dolphins have too much fluoride in their heads to dream. Something has to give, it is not a fair fight and wow I do want to fight.

Great poem.

Tic tac toe chemtrails here today. I am so pissed off there are few words for it. Is this place supposed to just suck? In all honesty, I am punished for every dumb thing I ever do, and I call it providence and am made better. WTF is coming for this idiot subspecies poisoning the well?

I hope we didn't get dressed up for nothing.

Les, can you answer por favor? Moving between rage and deadly depressed is not ok...

Visible,
Just my humble opinion, but I give a thumbs down to the presentation technique. As you stated, it was the same and only message done in another way. You did a very similar thing about a month ago. I didn't comment then, but was glad it only lasted a couple posts.
Reads too much like rap to me.
Your posts stand on their own. They don't need to be embellished by rhyming and rythm and such.
Will still be reading, as these sites, which you provide, are a great place to experience yours, and commenters, ideas. Thanks.

Zionist trial runs of "6 Million" Holocaust propaganda in 1911

- and in again 1919

Max Nordau (1849-1923) was the co-founder of the World Zionist Organization together with Theodor Herzl.

Have a look at this Max Nordau quote from Ben Hecht's book 'Perfidy' - which is available for free in PDF format at
http://www.hirhome.com/israel/perfidy.pdf (on page 232 of 261):

Quote:
In the Zionist Congress of 1911, 22 years before Hitler came to power, and three years before World War I, Nordau said, “How dare the smooth talkers, the clever official blabbers, open their mouths and boast of progress. . . . Here they hold jubilant peace conferences in which they talk against war. . . . But the same righteous Governments, who are so nobly, industriously active to establish the eternal peace, are preparing, by their own confession, complete annihilation for six million people, and there is nobody, except the doomed themselves, to raise his voice in protest although this is a worse crime than any war . . .” unquote.

____________________________________________________________________

And take a look at the article from The American Hebrew, October 31 1919 (see attached reproduction below), prophesying a 'holocaust' of 'six million':

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_H._Glynn

http://www.jrbooksonline.com/images/091031crucifixion.gif

The Crucifixion of Jews Must Stop!
By Martin H. Glynn
(Former Governor of the State of N.Y.)

From across the sea six million men and women call to us for help, and eight hundred thousand little children cry for bread.

These children, these men and women are our fellow-members of the human family, with the same claim on life as we, the same susceptibility to the winter's cold, the same propensity to death before the fangs of hunger. Within them reside the illimitable possibilities for the advancement of the human race as naturally would reside in six million human beings. We may not be their keepers but we ought to be their helpers.

In the face of death, in the throes of starvation there is no place for mental distinctions of creed, no place for physical differentiations of race. In this catastrophe, when six million human beings are being whirled toward the grave by a cruel and relentless fate, only the most idealistic promptings of human nature should sway the heart and move the hand.

Six million men and women are dying from lack of the necessaries of life; eight hundred thousand children cry for bread. And this fate is upon them through no fault of their own, through no transgression of the laws of God or man; but through the awful tyranny of war and a bigoted lust for Jewish blood.

In this threatened holocaust of human life, forgotten are the niceties of philosophical distinction, forgotten are the differences of historical interpretation; and the determination to help the helpless, to shelter the homeless, to clothe the naked and to feed the hungry becomes a religion at whose altar men of every race can worship and women of every creed can kneel. In this calamity the temporalities.. etc etc

Anonthy, you really made me laugh. 'Squeezing' the shamanic Vis-words into a nutshell. With you, Vis, I am sometimes not sure if you are kidding or not. Should I laugh or should I cry? It has been known that comedians are quite serious people 'putting out' for their fellow travellers.

And would you believe it, I just watched a rerun of Moreau's Island. Can we actually compare ourselves to those zombie-crippled creatures? In a spiritual sense I would say yes. Thank you, Vis, for helping us un-cripple.

Whatever our individual journeys are, it seems like we are walking along the Santiago de Compostela Camino in Spain. A physically gruelling 500 mile trek across highways and fields (Shirley McLaine). Dante and Chaucer did it among others. I never did, just read about it and it makes me think, I wouldn't be able to do it. But who knows, stranger things have happened. In all sincerity, Silvia
communc - the sense of community that has been beaten out of us by destroying the family unit?

This is the first time in my blogging history since the very early days that I found not a single comment on the morning (grin). Don't know what it means but I thought I would share it with the reader all the same; now on to Petri Dish.

Visible said...

Well, I should have checked first. The comments went in by themselves. That is also a first. I don't know what that means but I am definitely going to check the settings; strange days.

Mathew, the key is to endure. We are all under fire, I assure you. Speaking for myself, my degree of difficulty is great but we are not given more than we can handle. Remember, what you are experiencing is actually in your head. Let your heart swallow your mind and do not expend pointless thought on what cannot be changed by you. You can only work on yourself, the world continues as it does but that is not your affair. A simple surrender and a vow to continue will serve you well.

Gregory,

Thanks for your thoughtful response.

I see this most magnanimous of human societies as a variegated Vedic culture which like all systems and peoples has deteriorated and continues to decline due to Kali yuga's eroding effects.

I see the Bhaja Govindam not as a rival or counter balance to the works of Sri Shankaracharya but a compliment to its conclusion.

(was Sri Adi Shankaracharya an incarnation of Lord Shiva who manifested for a very special mission, a very special reason?)

It is a common circumstance for men and women of every stature and situation, every position to, upon approaching their appointment with Lord Yamaraja, bare their souls, gain intense enlightenment, etc.

Especially so for those souls who live lives of Vedic substance, spirituality as opposes to materialism.

Comes that special moment we all run out of time to and better decide whether or not we believe there really is a Yamaraja (or equivalent) or not.

Someone did indeed write the Bhaja Govindam..

Dear Les:

Just when you think that these self chosenites can't get any worse, you hear about an investigation by Greg Palast into the most disgusting exploitation of Africa. They have bought the Congo's debt of 100 million (from which other nations had graciously released the Congolese) for the price of 3 million.

What they are doing is sooooo fucking low down, I ain't going to link it here (because I know how you loathe links), but all one has to do is google the main vulture exploiter chosenites names: Paul Singer and Peter Grossman.

Let's all pray for Mr. Palast's safety, he is exposing these maggots at their worst.

luv you man!

I thank the Good Lord that my children took my advice; my son in Germany and daughter in Slovenia. I said GET OUT!!! when Bush got reelected, and they did. And they won't come back, either, I have to go visit them!
