Shitheads and Shiteaters

A point seldom made and a contradiction often missed is the ironic similarity between fundamentalist Islam and the ongoing putsch of the Christian right. The fundamentalists on both sides want to regulate human behavior to the inth degree and if you don't think Christians are every bit as capable of draconian enforcement as the Wahabi Muslims then you missed the inquisition, the witch-burnings and the Iraqi War. This is a clash of cultures and any other arguments are incidental. At a deeper level it is about the basic appearing differences between East and West- even to a deeper level of that between morning and night. These two cultures come at each other in the middle; the Middle East. Although people are basically the same everywhere they appear different.

It’s true that the pig cultures of the West want the oil to fuel their excessive pig lifestyle; hmmm, I wonder if there’s a connection there in respect of Muslims not eating pork? It’s true that the repressive cultures of the East fear the rise of feminine power. It’s true that the West glorifies her as a whore who gives fantastic head. You have to see what seems to be happening in terms of what is really happening. Just as certain plants tend to grow around other plants, terrorism is a natural outgrowth of Western culture.

A lot of the power of the luddites presently in charge of America and the solid block of robot voters that reflexively support them no matter what is the constant fear that seeming decadence will overpower their neighborhoods and homes; drugs, sexual diversity and licentious behavior, street violence and the general breakdown of the moments moral codes- according to the good girls and boys who grew up to be their parents. These people don’t seem to get the message of Deadwood or know much about 17th century London, or how it was in New York at the beginning of the last century; alcoholism and the general brutality of the system toward others. Even though the liars and thieves and assholes continue to be among us and in many cases plague our lives with their mischief, things improve slowly while getting better or worse in a cyclic bio-rhythm of forces most people don’t understand.

The shitheads in charge of the American government at this time are evil motherfuckers. It doesn’t matter if they know this and do it consciously, like Cheney, or are just too stupid to tie their own shoes, like Bush. The suffering given is the same. Behind the scenes major arm-twisting is taking place. Domestically the shitheads have control of the media, the military and the money. Most of the manipulation is taking place from London (which never did give up control of the colonies) and Tel Aviv. Money makes power happen. People in charge always want to be more in charge. The mind set that made them shithead control freaks in the first place hasn’t changed. It’s like watching The Treasure of Sierra Madre over and over again and it always ends the same way.

The world is going through major birth pains. It is the end of one age and the beginning of another. New visions are coming forth while old forms of ignorance are dying out. New ignorances are coming too. The ancient enemy of humanity doesn’t go away, he just shifts his tactics. It is easy to fall into fear and despair at this time. Don’t let that happen. Some good things are on the way but there is going to be some major housecleaning too.

Those who read here know that the shitheads were very likely behind the bombing of the golden dome mosque. Everything that is happening is being orchestrated for effect. But not everything is going their way and they aren’t writing the ending either. Notice how China and Russia have come into play.

The heads of state everywhere know what happened on 9/11. They know what happened in the Florida vote count and they know that the American electoral system has been hijacked. Why don’t you hear about it? That’s not how they play the game. You know about it though.

This nasty ugly mess that has been brought about by the corporations who run the governments is a frightening affair. Besides the oil there are other interests too. There is an enormous population with pocket change that looks damn good to the shitheads at McDonalds and all of the companies that sell shit to the shiteaters. Muslims don’t want to eat shit and there’s a problem all by itself. Western culture is trying to stuff their products down their throat. Meanwhile Bush is skullfucking Gandhi’s legacy in India while behaving in all ways contrary to everything Gandhi stood for. The fact is that the shiteaters are stupid. You would have to be stupid to eat shit wouldn’t you?

In America most people can’t tell because they eat shit all day long and have for years. They eat shit from the TV and they eat TV shit. They are entertained by shit and they especially like shit when you put colorful wrappers on it and add a lot of confection. When people collectively eat shit for long periods of time they turn into shit. But shit is good. Shit turns into nitrogen and it makes nature abundant and colorful. These people are compost for the new age.

The biggest danger is the trivialization of life. Everything is tending more and more trivial and superficial. The luddites are correct that a cancerous agenda is at work to subvert the values they hold dear and the shitheads are at great pains to let them know this. Those roomy camps that Halliburton is building in the US will seem realistic when the people who don’t exist on a steady diet of shit object to being tormented under increasing restrictions and fascist efforts that are ‘for their own protection’.

Why am I writing this? It is a little different. I just want you to play with some of these ideas. The shitheads are a logical progression that appears when a culture has entered a certain phase. The shitheads are always around but their numbers aren’t so great. You will note that the number of people engaged in certain lifestyles and forms of behavior are also increasing.

Karachi has almost 20 million people now. A plague could go through there like a wildfire. All these massive urban experiments are totally unprepared for the logical result of a bad experience. Did you think Katrina was bad? How about the response and the followup? You ain’t seen nothing yet. Life corrects itself. When life gets way out of balance it sets certain forces in motion.

It’s important to realize that Muslims are not a bunch of inflamed ragheads. Islam is, in its finest expressions, a powerful and beautiful thing. So is Christianity. In their essence these things contribute much that we all value without knowing its source. But just as the governments have been hijacked by shitheads, so have the religions too. On the one hand are the growing numbers of extremists and on the other hand are the mealy mouthed cowards who won’t stand for anything. Right now it’s a shithead’s world. Are you a shithead or a shiteater? Are you?

Right now the best thing anyone can do is to think about where they are and what they’re doing. Think about what you value and what you don’t mind losing. Think about your proximity to large numbers of shitheads and shit eaters. Eating shit is bad. It will make you sick and it might be contagious in a sudden and wild way. You don’t want to be there if you’re not a shit eater. Heads up.

Thank You for that. Chris from Portland.

And thank you for your help last week.

I am getting thru the archives one by one. One guy at work ask me what I am always reading. I let him read a paragraph on the media that you wrote.

He didn't understand. That hurt me me when you were so clear with your thoughts.

So this essay on shiteaters was especially relevant.

Thank you with your support thru the essays you have written. They all mean a great deal to me.

This current essay was somehow especially important to me.

Thank you.

Chris.

Heads up people.
'In their essence these things (Islam and Christianity) contribute much that we all value without knowing its source.'
Read, note and inwardly digest.
Thanks for that Visible

Karl Marx was not a stupid man! In fact he probably cringed when he thought of degrading the pure substance of opium by comparing it to religion. Opium at least produces an entire line of medically efficient byproducts, religion on the other had produces every dark and murderous variety of inhumanity from the heart of men unlike any other motivator.
There is always a wide seperatoin between the original tenet and the practicing tenet. Nominal christendom has little or nothing to do with Christianity and it is my guess despite lack of any real personal experience that we would find a similar situation in the Muslm world. Religiou base as opposed to Religious practice.

Setting relgion aside as a sub-culture we have the the more pervasive cultural segmentation of that we can refer to simply as EAST and WEST. It is an unfortunate albeit inexhorable quality of human nature, a rather base nature at times, to dignifiy one's isolation by assinging enmity to a given target whether a cultural or a geographical entity.

Great post as always..

You're always at the cutting edge. Your mention of Karachi looms. Yes, the Muslim religion is a deep and powerful thing. I used to read Hazrat Inayat Khan and just look at the poems of Rumi and others. The Sufi mysticism has shown me that all religions have a narrow path that leads through the bullshit and the shitheads.

Put yourself in a place outside of time. Stop imagining that it is 2006. "2006" is a contrivance built to honor the Christian mindset and the West forces it on the rest of the planet. Step outside of that framework whenever you can, try to find a physical place devoid of "2006" reminders, a natural place filled with the same plant forms that have existed for hundreds of thousands of years. In this environment you can begin to lift the illusion of "2006" away, to stand in a place where one can look at human history (the record of human behaviour) in an objective way.

Redevelop the natural talents that humans have allowed to wither. When you can go into the wilderness in (virtual) nakedness and still have the (knowledge) tools to create the magic of fire, you will have begun to reassert your independence. Cultivate that. Society is constantly trying to reshape you (deform you) in such a way as to make you dependent upon it, fearful of being outside of it....so it teaches you (lies to you) that food comes in cello-paks and tins (not nestled in the earth, waiting for you to discover it like so many hidden Easter eggs), that water comes in plastic bottles (not from sacred springs in the forested hillsides). Begin to remember who you are, recall the lexicon of nature that you spoke in the years before the Romans and the Greeks, practice the (primitive) skills that carried you to this fork in the road, develop the night vision you didn't know you had.

"Now" is the time to do this, not "someday"....from the frontier, you can see the fires beginning to burn down the structures that had been mistakenly assumed to be civil (when they were actually serious damages in our group DNA, self-destructive malforms that had been absorbed into the body politic). Begin to move away from it to a safe distance. We'll be waiting for you, those of us who listened to the inner voice that spoke the truth, that faint whisper that drowned out the roar of compulsive hatred that we'd all been living in. We'll be waiting.

Thank you for writing what you did, that another world is possible, here and now; time to create it is NOW. I'm already t/here, btw :)

Les,

Thank u for writing this brilliant (shedding light, love, live, and inspiration) piece. I've never had any appetite for shit ;) Would rather go hungry, even starve, if that's all there were to eat. But, hey it aint. So I don't. All comes down to choices, doesn't it. heheh

And thanks to you, and your asking for it, that anon @ 10:09 shared/offered what s/he did.

Did I say thank You yet? I'm ever so grateful.

"Les thus only serves the warmonger masterminds of the CFR with his platitudinous drivel"

...and here I thought we were engaged in a small, important revolution here! Instead, I find myself aligned with one who serves the warmonger masterminds. (sigh), so be it.

You sound so dismal Apples....why not take a break from the CFR for a few moments and join our picnic? (There's a tart for pudding!)

You're stuck in a Judeo-"Sadducean" rut!

Oh! Excuse me for a minute

BURP!!

Thank you for being so patient while I was repetitious

God and I (don't forget I'm with HIM at the moment) have a Question for you:
What is this platitudinous, circular conspiracy theory-analytic-template, platitude thingey
Answer: a circle (like in 'what goes 'round comes 'round')

By the way have you noticed how reading your writings leads to excessive bodily discharge?

NO MONEY!

Usually I avoid chum artists with an overdeveloped sense of self importance like yourself Appolonian. No good comes of talking with a paranoid psychotic. However, I want to know, are you the guy that writes all the small print on the Dr. Bronner's soap bottles?

I'm clear on the fact that you are making a pest of yourself here because no one comes to see you in whatever flyblown cyber-wilderness you inhabit. I realize you are trying to use the small popularity of this blog to further your desires to be known as a nutjob over a larger reach of the population. It's a funny thing about some people. It's never enough just to be an embarrassment to themselves among the people who have the misfortune to know them. No, they want the whole world to laugh all at the same time.

You toss out references, using names like Spengler, with whom I am familiar and other things. I haven't had any flashes of enlightenment from reading your comments and I can tell you I have never finished one of them. An irony that is probably lost on you is the fact that in repeating yourself over and over with the same tired horseshit that you give proof to Spengler's theory of cyclicity.

The end result appolonian is that you aren't me and it's unlikely you are going to evolve into anything even approaching a really bad copy of me based on your limited perceptions of who I am. If you were at all amusing or entertaining in any way I would let you go on pissing in the comments section. But the time has come to tell you that if you keep this juvenile Ted Kaczynski shit up I'm going to have to flush all of your postings and flush you just as soon as you show up each time. I'm notified immediately you see.

Now I don't know if you've got the entire wall and ceiling space of your one room apartment done up cyptic language and symbols, newspaper clippings of missing children or what but this isn't a paid location in a private mental hospital. So shut up, bug off, or be silenced.

"Kike" was a German Jewish derogatory reference to Eastern European Jews. Over a hundred and fifty-thousand Jews fought for Germany in WW II. A book by Bryan Mark Rigg (Jewish) titled; Hitler's Jewish Soldiers: The Untold Story Of Nazi Racial Laws and Men of Jewish Decent in the German Military.

Reposted from Gehenna, which I recently visited:

Appolonius and the Origins of "Prophecy"

Someone recently asked me why I ever came to associate Appolonius with Jesus, never having met him and knowing little about him. I replied first that it had to do with the posts he was making before he left BOTF around the time of the last presidential election - that some of those posts exhibited a mastery of lyrical parable and expression of spiritual thought within parable that rivalled anything you can find in the King James gospels. And further, that I had never read anything else which occasioned the same reaction in me.

Of course, another reason is that around that time, I was toying with the idea of the "2nd Coming" being an intrinsically foolish idea which contradicts the evidence that Jesus has in fact come back to each generation, been crucifed in each generation, and will continue to return in each generation for another crucifxion until some future generation finally gets it right. And Appolonius' treatment by certain fray Pharisees certainly lent some psychological likelihood to this idea.

In any event, I want to focus here on the notion of "prophet" itself and how it may have arisen in the course of our specie's earliest experience with the circumstances that drove it to acquire language.

There must, originally, have been those who could somehow make others see things not before their eyes. As a metaphor for this ability, I have often used the dance which the honey-bee does on the wall of his hive, after he returns from having found a new stash of clover. In this dance, the honey-bee literally makes his fellows see the direction of the new stash, something which is not immediately present to their eyes.

Those of our forebears who originally had this ability must have been the ones who unwittingly created and fostered the drive toward language, inasmuch as the ability to get people to see things not before their eyes (a source of water, of food, of safety) would have been an ability promoted by the processes of natural selection. Groups which did not have such figures, which did not have The-Ones-Who-Can-Make-Us-See, would have been at a competitive disadvantage compared to groups which did, inasmuch as the latter would get to the food, the water, and the safety first.

And equally or more importantly, would know the presence of danger first.

Now it seems reasonable to suppose that as the very act of survival became easier for our forebears, the need for The-One-Who-Can-Make-Us-See became less dire. But by that time the die had been cast - social organizations and customs and roles had been predicated for many generations on the assumption that the tribe would always need and be helped by "The-One-Who-Can-Make-Us-See".

And so, figures such as Jeremiah arise in history, who were first hated, then revered, because they tried to make people see unpleasant things not immediately before their eyes - in Jeremiah's case, his people's impending punishment by a wrathful God.

I'm now 74, and still learning.
But one thing I already know is
that religions have killed more
people than gunpowder ever has,
or probably ever will.
Think about this: Does God need a
religion? So who started it then?
It's just another power struggle.kimnrhh
