I just don't get it.

Well, the results are in and its official, Bush is a dictator. I expect a biography written about him to be titled; “George Bush, The American Pinocchio” There has never been a more ludicrous figure in the highest office in the land. Nixon, of course, was a strange one, looking like a demented Bob Hope with their matching ski-slope noses. But Nixon had a brain. Nixon was intelligent, if bent and well understood the theater of international politics.

Why I say Bush is a dictator is that he has just said that it doesn’t matter what congress wants or does. He will determine the course, length and intensity of the war. He said that they have their job and that is to provide the money. He is not going to run his war by committee; as it looks now his vetoes could be overruled. It’s anybody’s guess where this is going to wind up. We are in uncharted territory. We are in no man’s land.

For some of you it’s just business as usual and for some of you it is a scary thing indeed. It’s actually worse than we know and somewhere halfway through this year we are going to look around and see that our world has been changed forever.

Observant people have noticed all of the little nuances in the Patriot Acts, the building of domestic detention camps and the clamp down on basic freedoms, long taken for granted as well as the ongoing restrictions on movement. Don’t worry. It’s for your own good.

Now, unless you are a frothing dog on a short chain, you know that Bush is a lunatic. He’s both crazy and incompetent. He’s an insane, cartoon character in real life and the sensation of his intent is everywhere around us. You have to look back over the years. You have to watch the progression of events as they unfolded and notice the changes that followed each event. If you look closely you can clearly see that very bad shit has happened, is happening and, unless something interferes, very, very bad shit is about to happen.

I’m not going to go into all of the details. If you want a brilliant summing up I suggest you watch:

Keith Olbermann’s commentary on Bush following his speech.

That says it all. It says it with passion and razor sharp intelligence. Keith Olbermann pretty much stands alone at this time. There isn’t anyone at his level. I suggest you check it out. No need for me to sort through the same dirty laundry one more time. You’ve heard it all before. You’ve heard it in a hundred places where people were inclined to tell the truth and connect the dots. You know by now or... you’re a frothing dog on a short chain.

Pretty soon, I don’t know when, either Israel or the U.S. or both together are going to attack Iran. There are so many false flags waving in the media it’s like running through laundry lines in a third world city. The very same lies used to drum up the previous engagements are being used again. And they are going to use nuclear weapons.

Something bothers me. There’s something I can’t put my finger on. When you look at Bush’s performance over these last years you see someone who has failed in spectacular fashion at everything he has done. He has wasted enormous amounts of money. He has stolen enormous amounts of money for his friends. Grievous crimes are committed in broad daylight every single day. Halliburton and a number of corporations are doing things that at any other time would demand prison sentences. People who have nothing to do with AlQaeda or terrorism are locked up incommunicado at Guantanamo Bay. Their lawyers are being threatened. Nearly everywhere you look the natural order of life has been bent into tragic and uncomfortable shape. And Bush wasn’t legally elected even once.

The reality of terrorism is that it is a minor nuisance. More people die from eating peanuts than from terrorism and the biggest act, the 9/11 assault was engineered by the present government with the help of various associates in order to fabricate a fear that makes it possible to steal your freedoms for your own protection. Any sane person can see through the veneer of bullshit and lies. By now it is obvious to most of us that 9/11 was an inside job. A CNN poll some months ago found that a shocking 84% believed that the government was somehow involved. But... nothing is done.

Nothing is being done about any of it. A new congress was elected and the citizens of America sent their collective message to end the war now. Yet, nothing is being done. How is it that this is possible? This is what I don’t understand. Why did Nancy Pelosi say there would be no impeachment hearing? How is it that Joe Lieberman can say that an investigation into Katrina won’t be happening? That’s absurd. How is this possible?

There is some kind of gas or chemical in the air that appears to cloud the human mind. It just doesn’t make sense that the first order of the day wouldn’t be to bring Bush and his felon associates up on charges. His crimes outdistance Clinton’s the way a shoplifter compares to a serial killer. There isn’t any doubt that he is guilty of monstrous human rights violations, assaults on the constitution, voter fraud, high crimes, misdemeanors and treason. Bush and his men are worse monsters than Saddam. Why isn’t there an enormous hue and cry?

I hesitate to say this but it is almost as if Bush is The Devil. Everywhere people are subservient to him. Men and women with real credentials and power scurry about this Mad Hatter’s Tea Party as if well, as if the Devil himself were in attendance. Something isn’t right. Things like this do happen in other countries but never before in America. The news is manufactured and spoon-fed to the masses. Glaring evidence of this administration’s involvement in 9/11 is everywhere to be seen and congress won’t say a word. Surely they all know. What power is it that has reduced this democratic organization to a mere rubber stamp?

It just goes on. Bush is now so out of control that people everywhere are seeing it yet nothing is being done. His own party opposes him and it makes no difference. It only takes one state legislature to institute impeachment proceedings and it looks like New Mexico is going to do it, so maybe something is going to happen but people... look what is happening to your world. Look at all the lies that have been exposed, the crimes committed. What is this dreadful miasma that lies over the land? There’s a television laugh track running alongside it. I can’t get a grip on it. It’s like something in the corner of your eye that keeps looming but when you look at it, it disappears.

It is a certainty that anyone else would have been impeached and exiled long ago. How is it that this incompetent coward can go on and on like the sea and nothing happens? I know that the media is part of it, so are the government and the corporations. They’re collectively engaged. But it feels like there is something else, something hidden but immensely powerful in a temporal sense. Things don’t add up. Nothing about the Iraq war effort, or Katrina or obscene tax breaks for the super rich makes any sense. It seems like deliberate incompetence. It’s as if the bunch of them said, “Hey, let’s fuck everything up as bad as we can.”

Pointless troop surges, deliberate provocations abroad, the senseless murders of hundreds of thousands of people and... nothing. It just goes on. The nation is in the grip of an angry sleep and everything is distorted and strange. Where are the representatives of the people crying out for redress. Was everyone in congress given a secret memo. Did aliens take over the Earth? Is there a powerful hypnotic in the water supply? It just goes on lurtching like a drunken Frankenstein toward some terrible epiphany.

Big Lies, Small Lies and False Flags Waving.

It never fails to amaze me, this daily stream of lies and half-truths- this couching of suggestive and subliminal acupressure upon the human mind. From the shit-shillers to the acrobatic word whores, everywhere you look someone is being paid to lie about something. Invariably these lies have something to do with putting money in the liar’s pockets. Sometimes it’s just to encourage you to buy their car over that car, unless you are smart enough to buy Japanese... or this beer over that beer. Getting you to buy one product over another, encouraging brand loyalty is the daily doing of the liars in the market place.

There are many levels of lying and lying ability. Some of them must be indirect because they are patently evil. Such as lying a nation into war in order to sell munitions, war paraphernalia and to steal another countries resources and profit from the needs of soldiers in the field. Or it could be in order to control the price and flow of oil. There are some among us who are disposed to believe that their government wants to stabilize the availability of the oil for the benefit of its citizens. That is an obvious lie given the degree to which they manipulate both the availability and the price for their own benefit. The theft of billions from California through the machinations of Bush oil buddies is a textbook example.

There are those who fabricate non-existent enemies in order to invade a country. There are those who plan and carry out attacks on their own nation in order to blame these events on fabricated enemies in order to invade another country. There are those who manufacture memos based on fabrications and who manufacture intelligence from sources that cannot be named in order to engineer the invasion of another country. There are those who misquote world leaders in order to drum up international sympathy for an attack on another country. One example is quoting Ahmanedijad as saying that Israel should be destroyed when he clearly said, “the Zionist Regime”. Another is to present Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program as a cover for the manufacture of nuclear weapons.

There is another way of lying which is to omit significant facts that would render a lie just what it is; for instance, to suggest that Iran is operating in a rogue fashion when in fact they are abiding by the dictates of the Nuclear Energy Commission. It is altogether possible that Iran might one day seek to possess nuclear weapons given the overt hostility displayed toward them by the Middle East’s chief trouble maker, Israel. Were Israel the fine democratic nation they pretend to be they wouldn’t be involved in genocide against the Palestinians.

Another kind of lie is to label a militant faction in a particular country as terrorists. Hamas and Hezbollah are examples of this. Neither of these groups are terrorists. Even a casual inquiry would reveal the origin of these groups and cast an entirely different light upon their principles and intentions. It is safe to say that if Palestinians were no longer being arbitrarily slaughtered and Lebanon were to be allowed to live in peace there would be no need for either group.

Some lies have been around so long that they are automatically assumed to be true. One such lie is that the Palestinians refuse to accept Israel’s right to exist. That’s a lie. The truth is that it is the other way around. When Israel was created the Israelis drove hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes, employing murderous acts to facilitate this. Israel has refused Palestinians the right to exist from the beginning. Today they bulldoze their homes in the ghettos where they have imprisoned them, destroy their olive orchards and crops and increasingly encroach upon their properties with violent settlers who can do what they want with any stray Palestinian they might encounter and with no fear of reprisal.

Much is made of rockets fired into Israel by individuals claimed to be Palestinian radicals. How much of this is actually the case is very much in doubt. However, as long as Palestinians are denied their own country, which they had before Israel started jumping up and down on their heads. As long as Palestinian land is stolen and apartheid is in place and as long as Palestinians can be rounded up and imprisoned, tortured, their women and children used for target practice, just so long they have a perfect right to retaliate. It’s clear that they do not possess much of a means to do much damage. They also have a perfect right to use suicide bombers because it is the ONLY weapon they possess. A people must be severely oppressed before they resort to that kind of activity. Life has to have gotten to the point where it isn’t worth living.

One huge lie is how endangered Israel is. Israel has the fourth most powerful military in the world. The Palestinians have just about nothing. Israel could solve their professed Palestinian problem in a heartsbeat but they will not and they will do everything possible, including false flag ops and the like to keep the tension high... because Zionism wants the land.

There are other lies as well that thread through the history of that region. There are some very big lies about the cause of the Six Days war and who started it and why. There are other lies about the other conflicts that are just taken as true when they are not. A little research would shed much light on all of them.

There is a big lie of victim perception on the part of the Israelis who are in fact the chief victimizers in the area. They could change the entire face of the mid-east conflict and stabilize the region if they wished. They do not wish to.

Now there is the big lie that Israel is trumpeting that Iran is an ‘international problem’. The neo-con Zionist Israelis who fabricated the lies upon which the Iraq conflict is based are now doing the same thing with Iran and they are leaning hard, very hard on America to fight this war for them too.

There is an enormous representation of Zionists at a variety of levels concerning the 9/11 attacks. The same Israeli security firm was in charge of security at all the 9/11 airports. They were also in charge of security in the London tube for that attack AND at the Madrid train station. That’s an awful lot of coincidence. Then there are the five dancing Israelis which is a very curious story and then there is the whole tale of Larry Silverstein/WTC and there is much, much more. If there is fire where there is smoke then we have a lot of smoke and fire.

No one is allowed to look into these things for some reason. The AIPAC lobby, which says that it isn’t extremely powerful sure seems to shut down any mention of anything they don’t like. Personally, I’m not on anyone’s side. I just think the truth should be known. Why should we mind knowing the truth? If there’s nothing there then there’s nothing there.

One curious thing that remains among all the lies is; what was Mohammed Atta doing on Jack Abramoff’s gambling boat mere days before the 9/11 attacks? I would surely like to know the answer to this. The FBI photographed it and reported on it but.... just another mystery I guess. It’s too bad that reasonable folk in power can’t be bothered to investigate what really happened. Something or someone doesn’t want that to happen.

Now it's Time to Hang the Rest of Them.

Well, we didn’t do much about Pol Pot, except to support his admission into the U.N. as the legitimate representative of the Cambodian people. We didn’t do much about Idi Amin as he wandered the Saudi Arabian desert in his exile, no doubt his slippers and his pipe awaited him each evening as the sun went down.

We didn’t do anything about Rwanda. We haven’t done anything about the Janjaweed in the Sudan. We don’t much give a shit about the Falun Gong or Tibet. Something happened in Armenia or maybe it didn’t according to the Turks. There’s a weird irony in that given their cozy buddy-up with the Israelis but that goes way back to the time when the Turks were Khazars. Still, history has no meaning except in terms of the versions accepted to justify the acts that follow.

Saddam was one of the good guys until he wasn’t and then he became one of the bad guys. In terms of behavior and intent he is indistinguishable from the rulers of most Arab countries. Unfortunately for him his profile was too high in the way that John Gotti’s profile was too high. Both of these men had an undesirable maverick streak which put them at odds with the Pirate kings at the great table of international swag. Really, when you think about it, it was just another gangland slaying. The Bush Crime family couldn’t get him to ‘come to the table for a sit down’.

So they hung Saddam and you got to admit he went like a man. You could imagine g.w.b. being led to the gallows with a full body trembling and a wet stain at the crotch. The whole gang of them; the mass murders that comprise the administration of the Bush Crime Family and their puppet-master neo-cons and their overlords in Israel. Could you imagine these going to their much deserved fate with half the sand of Saddam? Not likely.

In the scheme of things this group of gangsters deserves the gallows more than Saddam. He only did what rulers in that area always do. Strongman rule requires the pacification of various elements at one time or another in whatever scorpion infested wilderness they reign over. It’s how it is done. It doesn’t ‘get done’ any other way. It’s being done the same way in Arab nations across the board. You’d be justified in charging a store owner for having loss leaders to get you into their place by the same token. It’s how it is done. This is known as business as usual.

Saddam shouldn’t have been hanged. He should have gone into exile which is what all of them do. Where’s that guy from Zaire now? Where are all the others from their African nations? Where is Baby Doc? On the Riviera last I heard. He and his wife murdered an unbaptized infant on their bed before they left to put bad mojo on whoever was going to be the new occupant. Nobody cared. Few of us even heard about it.

How about Pinochet? What about Kissinger? No, life isn’t fair. But according to the rules in play Saddam should not have been hanged. Elsewise they all should and the sooner the better.

I’m against capital punishment for reasons too numerous to get into. I’m against war for that matter because it is always drummed up by an interested party of business folk who want to profit from both sides of the conflict. It’s in London, Washington D.C. and Tel Aviv where these decisions are made. War seldom has anything to do with the reasons given. They are about the advancement of commercial interests. Sometimes they are about wiping people out but the commercial interests are still there.

It’s really about people being stupid. The process of dumbing down over the last two decades has been very effective. Making borderline intellects even stupider than they were ensures a pool of canon fodder and election supporters for any venture, no matter how crass, no mater how venal, no matter what. It can be analyzed and justified... easiest thing in the world.

You take the entertainment industries and you make the performers as trivial and empty as possible. You pump cotton candy into the vacant attics of their minds like your present day pop stars. You filter in the necessary drugs and alcohol. You reduce language comprehension in the schools and you encourage a materialistic commonality in the people. Conversely you manifest religious fundamentalism in opposition to the apparent hedonism of the youth and the entertainment industries output as you pander to the fear of the parents and you get what you get; what you got now and both of these seemingly disparate entities are created and manipulated by the same interests. Fools can’t see it and you got plenty of those.

For some of the sheep it caters to vague ideals and aspirations that they have imperfectly formulated in their minds. For some it comes after their strong appetites. For some it plays on their fear. There are a few common denominators that always come into play, whether it is ‘bread and circuses’, or the boogeyman, or the girl in the bathing suit next to the bottle of beer... or in the black cocktail dress next to the bottle of scotch. It’s a time tested formula.

Following this it is necessary to marginalize those who see what is happening and to label them in a negative light as if the truth tellers were agents of the opposition. When I say opposition I mean that which appears to oppose our common opportunity for the good life. The good life wanders further and further away as the few are enriched at the expense of the many and all along the way, those who have had their dreams and opportunities stolen from them applaud the efforts of their slave-masters. It’s hard to imagine but you have to remember, a lot of people have little imagination at all and really are not very bright. You can see this if you have the capacity. How many of us would that be?

And for those who can see there remains the threat of being perceived as an enemy of the state. There are a lot of checks and balances for all manner of protest and palpable outrage. There are always the police and the airport checkpoints. It wasn’t a bad idea for them to dummy up the 9/11 attacks and the London bombings and blame them on the Scarlet Pimpernel. The minor distraction of terrorism has become much larger than life. Bin Laden might be under the bed or in the closet after all.

If they can hang Saddam they can hang anyone, including you. They make it up as they go along. They got a stable full of whores in the governments of the world and thousands of bully boys with guns and clubs. What are you going to do about it, punk?

Well, even if we never get anywhere. If we cannot turn the tide or reach the common heart it needs to be said. Some are saying it and maybe that will bring some good and maybe it won’t. It won’t always be this dark and maybe it will get darker but sooner or later the sun is going to come out and each of us has a destiny that is married to our behavior and intentions. Just you go on doing what you do and you will see that, indeed, character may well be fate after all.
